Romney ''I'm not concerned about the very poor''
Mitt Romney has drawn criticism for his comments '' I'm not concerned about the very rich poor...''
If you watch the full clip he actually said "I'm in this race because I care about Americans. I'm not concerned about the very poor. We have a safety net there. If it needs repair, I'll fix it,"I'm not concerned about the very rich, they're doing just fine. I'm concerned about the very heart of the America, the 90 percent, 95 percent of Americans who right now are struggling."
Context is everything , but this does not help him and I think shows that perhaps he actually believes that the very poor have brought this upon themselves. There is a school of thought out there that if you are poor then this is a sum of the decisions that you have made.
I know that the DNC must be 'adding to Romney folder'.

Multiple sources are reporting that John Huntsman will be dropping out of the race. That's dissapointing- what is more disappointing is the fact that Mr Huntsman will be endorsing Mitt Romney immediately.
Only in politics can two people be engrosed in a bitter, seemingly passionate disagreement about the policy direction of a country but embrace the next day. We'll see how this plays out - Did the Romney offer him a cabinet position?

FLOTUS Keeps It Classy!
The new book titled The Obama's outlines Michelle Obama's dissatisfaction with some of the decisions made by the White House Staff.
In my opinion - if there is any truth , it actually makes me like her more. It appears that the First Lady's focus is ensuring that the President keeps to the promises that he made during the 2008 campaign. An example is the Health Care Reform, which seemed to have been dead before arrival and that some of his advisers were ready to close that chapter. It appears that the first lady was definitely important in ensuring that the Health Care Bill was seen through.
It will be interesting to see Michelle Obama on the campaign trail, there is no doubt she is eager to ensure that the President's achievements are communicated effectively and there is no better advocate of the president.

The Occupy movement is indeed turning global with the latest country to join the movement being Nigeria. This video is very powerful , a testament to the resilience of the young people ( and young at heart ) across the world, who are tired of status quo and the deemed advantage of the privileged few at the expense of the majority.
Occupy Nigeria is a series of protests that began in Nigeria on Monday, 2 January 2012 in response to the fuel subsidy removal by the Federal Government of President Goodluck Jonathan in Nigeria on Sunday, 1 January 2012.
Nigeria is Africa’s biggest oil producer, but still imports refined petrol. The country produces about 2 million barrels of crude oil daily which is exported to be refined abroad even though the country has 4 refineries with installed capacity of 445,000 bpd. Despite this, the country imports 250,000bpd of petroleum products into the country for sale to its citizens. The price of petrol has increased from 65 naira ($0.40; £0.26) per litre to at least 140 naira in filling stations and from 100 naira to at least 200 naira on the black market, from which manyNigerians buy their fuel. Due to years of mismanagement and systemic corruption, Nigeria does not have the capacity to refine crude oil into petrol and other fuels.
With the majority of Nigerians living on less than $2 per day, cheap petrol is the only tangible benefit they receive from the state, hence the widespread disapproval.

The president appointed Cordray whilst the congress is in recess. Many on the left are happy that the president is finally 'standing up to congress'. Is candidate Obama back? We love that guy!

Mitt Romney won the Iowa Caucus by 8 votes - not 8% but 8 votes! That means that he is still failing to enthuse the Republican Primary voters.
